URECA Grant Program
The URECA (Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity) Grant Program is part of Tennessee Tech's ELEVATE QEP, which supports students in developing durable life skills and career readiness - often through experiential learning opportunities such as research and creative projects. URECA provides funding for undergraduate students to pursue these projects in collaboration with faculty mentors. Whether working independently or as part of a team, students are encouraged to ask bold questions and seek innovative solutions.
Students who are seeking to present their research or creative work at professional conferences, exhibitions, or symposia may also apply for an ELEVATE XP Experiential Presentation Travel Grant. Funding is available to individual students or groups working with a Tennessee Tech faculty member. These grants support travel opportunities that help students gain real-world experience, strengthen communication and professionalism skills, and engage with broader academic and professional communities.
The deadline for URECA mini grant and team grant applications for Fall 2025 is 4:30 pm on September 4.
