Our Mission
The Tennessee Tech Women's Center encourages belonging on our campus for everyone. We provide education about issues relating to gender, something we all experience, and focus especially on content relating to women's lives. We advocate for everyone to be involved in our work; we all need to participate in making sure that everyone feels safe, visible, and included on campus.
The Center coordinates with other university and community organizations to build an environment characterized by equity, freedom, and dignity for all people.
To accomplish this mission the Center:
- Connects people, programs, and resources
- Educates everyone about how gender impacts all our lives
- Fosters self-advocacy for the greater good

I moved to Tennessee in 2014 to attend Tennessee Tech University focusing on Criminal Justice, and have lived in Cookeville ever since. Originally, I am from a small ski town in northern New Hampshire located within Mount Washington Valley. In my spare time you can find me working on my newest cross stitch, embroidery or crochet project! Any other time I have is spent with Dean and Walter, my two pit bull fur-babies! We are either playing frisbee or walking at Cane Creek Park.
I am very proud to be involved with Tennessee Tech's Women's Center, and to be actively working towards achieving our mission of belonging for all.
