Manufacturing and Engineering Technology
Electricity & Electronics Laboratory
The introduction of applied electricity covers Ohm's Law, Kirchoff's Law, series and parallel circuits, magnetism, measuring instruments, AC and DC theory, generators, and motors. Laboratory experiments in these areas serve as a vehicle for learning.
The second course in electricity and applied electronics is a continuing study of electrical instruments, transformers, tubes, transistors, semi-conductors, power supplies, and amplifiers. Laboratory experiments require applied theory, planning, and fabrication of electronic devices.
