Get a jump start on your master’s degree!
Why wait to advance your career? With the Fast Track MBA program, you can begin earning
graduate credit while completing your bachelor’s degree. Qualified seniors can take
up to six credit hours of MBA coursework that count toward both undergraduate and
graduate degree requirements.
As a Fast Track student, you’ll gain early access to advanced business courses, learn alongside MBA students, and accelerate your path to a master’s degree—all with approval from your undergraduate advisor and the Director of Graduate Business Programs.

Admission Requirements to Fast-Track

Completion of at least 90 undergraduate credit hours (or senior standing) and all required course prerequisites.

Minimum overall GPA of 3.2 and a 3.2 GPA in the student’s major field of study.

Consultation with the MBA Graduate Advisor is required to determine appropriate graduate courses to take during the senior year.

Students must earn a grade of B or higher in each Fast Track course. Those who do not meet this standard will be advised to withdraw from the Fast Track program and complete their undergraduate degree as usual.
Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the MBA Fast Track or the MBA program. Eligibility and acceptance are determined in consultation with the College of Business.
Successful Fast Track students wishing to continue in the MBA program must satisfy all Graduate School admission requirements and be formally admitted to the MBA program.
How do I apply for Fast Track?

Meet with your undergraduate advisor to confirm your eligibility for the Fast Track program.

Schedule a meeting with the MBA Graduate Advisor to discuss the application process and select appropriate MBA courses.

The MBA Graduate Advisor will complete the digital Fast Track Program Acceptance Form and Course Credit Form on your behalf.

Your form will be routed electronically for departmental and Graduate College approval. Once approved by the College of Graduate Studies, the Registrar’s Office will add your MBA course(s) to your registration record.

Earn Your Bachelor’s and MBA in Just Four Years
Students who enter Tennessee Tech with at least 15 hours of college credit from high school—through AP, dual enrollment, or other advanced coursework—have the opportunity to complete both their bachelor’s degree and MBA in just four years. By joining the MBA Fast Track program, you can take up to six hours of graduate coursework as a college senior that count toward both degrees, accelerating your path to graduation and career advancement. This streamlined option allows motivated students to save time, reduce tuition costs, and enter the workforce with a competitive edge—all while earning two prestigious degrees from Tennessee Tech.
Fast-Track Forms
Fast Track Program Acceptance and Course Credit Form: Use these forms if the student is entering the Fast Track program for the first time. The forms should be submitted by the student's advisor. The department chair and dean of the Fast Track program (which may differ from the student's undergraduate department chair and dean) should sign the forms. (Review GPA requirements.)
Fast Track Course Credit Form: Use this form if the student is taking an additional Fast Track course. The form should be submitted by the student's advisor. The department chair of the Fast Track program (which may differ from the student's undergraduate department chair) should sign the form.
