Biography:

My job is all about helping students navigate college life—whether that’s figuring out advising questions, connecting to resources, or making sure students feel supported from day one through graduation. I'm passionate about supporting anyone who might feel overwhelmed by the college process.

My husband and I graduated with our Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Tennessee Tech. When I'm not working at The Student Success Center, I enjoy reading (always open to suggestions and looking for my next book), playing with my border collie, Franklin, and traveling. I am the proud Mom to one son who also graduated from Tennessee Tech.

My door is always open if students need help or don’t know where to start.

Biography:

Although I grew up in Alabama, Cookeville has been my home for over 20 years. My husband and I have two young adult daughters who are my pride and joy. My career path has been in education and librarianship, and this advising position is a great blend of things I enjoy. I love helping students along the path toward completing a degree.
