Request for Exception
Any student wishing to request an exception to a scholarship requirement may submit a Scholarship Request for Exception form. These requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be either approved or denied. The University Scholarship Policy (No. 1204) states that the Appeals Committee has up to 30 calendar days to return a decision, although the typical turnaround time is one to two weeks.
Scholarship Request for Exception Form
Fewer Than 12 Hours to Graduate
Admissions scholarships require continuous, full-time undergraduate enrollment and end automatically upon graduation. Scholarships will be disbursed below full-time if the student is graduating and has fewer than 12 hours remaining in their course program of study (amounts will be pro-rated at less than 6 hours enrollment). As long as you have applied to graduate the semester you will be below full time, an exception request is not needed and your scholarship should disburse automatically. If your scholarship does not disburse automatically when the rest of your aid disburses, please email scholarships@tntech.edu with your name and Tnumber and we will review for any issues.
