About the Burnett Recreation Center
The Marc L. Burnett Recreation Center is the hub of student fitness, wellness, and adventure at Tennessee Tech. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to stay active and engaged: Intramural Sports, Fitness and Wellness programs, Eagle Outdoors, a 25-yard indoor swimming pool, a full range of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, multipurpose courts, and an indoor running track.
Because the center was funded by Tennessee Tech students, it is not open to the general public. Access is limited to:
- Current students and their families
- Faculty and staff and their families
- Graduates and their families
- Retired faculty and staff and their families
To enter, simply present your Eagle Card or Membership Card at the front desk.
Whether you’re lifting weights, joining a fitness class, training for intramurals, or gearing up for your next outdoor adventure, the Marc L. Burnett Recreation Center is where Golden Eagles go to live well and stay active.
