Program Fee (Annual)
Full String Project Experience
$200 for full school year (two semesters)
Each Week – Small Technique Class and Large Ensemble. Great for any student, even those taking private lessons. This is recommended for most students and all beginners.
Large Ensemble Only
$160 for full school year (two semesters or two payments = $95/semester)
Meets each week and is a large ensemble suited for your level. For students taking lessons outside of String Project.

Orchestra
Beginner/Intermediate
Mondays 4:50-5:35
This large ensemble explores the complexities of playing with a string orchestra. Topics covered are music reading, ensemble playing, playing with a conductor, playing with a mix of instruments, playing different musical genres, instrumental techniques, and performing.
Advanced
Mondays 6:30-7:30
This large ensemble expands knowledge and experience of playing with a string orchestra. Topics covered are advanced music reading, solo playing, ensemble playing, playing with a conductor, playing with a mix of instruments, playing different musical genres, and performing.
Small Group
Beginner/Intermediate
Mondays 4:00-4:45
In these like-instrument small groups, you will gain individualized instruction on your instrument from beginner to intermediate level. Learn technique, music reading, and music history.
Advanced
Mondays 5:40-6:25
In these like-instrument small groups, you will gain individualized instruction on your instrument in the advanced level. Learn advanced techniques, strengthen your music reading, music history, and musicianship.
Chamber Group
Intermediate
Mondays 5:40-6:25
These small ensembles of mixtures of instruments explore chamber music from all genres and periods. Music reading, chamber music, small ensemble dynamics, and musicality are touched upon here.
Advanced
Mondays 5:40-6:25 or 7:35-8:20

Honors String Quartet
(time TBA)
This audition-only ensemble meets each week for 1 hour with a master teacher coach. Members will explore string quartet literature, music reading, chamber music techniques, and music history. Possibilities of performance time as a group.
Advanced Violin Ensemble
Mondays 5:40-6:25
This great group meets once a week to explore music theory, history, reading, and
performance techniques. Emphasis on ensemble and chamber music with possibilities
of performances.
Adult Beginners
Small Groups: Mondays 6:30-7:30 – String Orchestra: Mondays 7:30-8:30
This great group of adults has had some experience or no experience with their instrument.
During your small groups, you can study technique, scales, and tunes with your chosen
instrument and a small group of other like-minded adults. In the Orchestra, we will
learn classical and traditional repertoire and play together as a large group.
Scholarships
Scholarships may be available and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
