How to Sign Up

Girl taking notesIf your professor made an announcement to request that someone sign up to be a volunteer notetaker for your class, you can sign up here! Our office thanks you for your support and for providing this service. Once you fill out the application to volunteer, you will receive more instructions in your Tech email address. How to Upload Notes

  1. Log in to your account by clicking the button above. You will log in with the first part of your email and the password to your email.
  2. Click the tab at the top that says, "Notetaker". On the left side of the screen, click the button that says "Upload and View Notes".
  3. Select the class, the week, and the day that you are uploading notes for and click "Choose File" to find the file on your computer. Please upload notes from the first week of classes.

Earning Community Service Hours

Two students taking notes while sitting in grass.Our volunteers will earn community service hours throughout the semester. You can earn 1 hour per credit hour of the class x the amount of weeks that you upload notes for. For example: if you have a 3 credit hour class and you upload notes for all 15 weeks of the semester, you will earn 45 hours. At the end of the semester, if you would like a certificate of how many community services hours you have earned, please email us below.
