About

Dr. Marlana Lastres holds degrees in Secondary Education, Curriculum & Instruction, and Exceptional Learning. Dr. Lastres has experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research and has presented and published research regionally, nationally, and internationally. Currently, Dr. Lastres teaches courses focused on qualitative research and at-risk populations. She has experience in the K-12 classroom, university admissions, institutional assessment & effectiveness, and program evaluation. In her free time, Dr. Lastres enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exploring new recipes, traveling around the world, and bringing awareness to the lasting impacts of childhood trauma.
