Biology Students Speak at Northern American Duck Symposium
On February 5 - 9, 2024, the Cohen Wildlife Lab attended the 9th North American Duck
Symposium in Portland, Oregon. This is a conference attended by waterfowl
researchers and biologists from across the continent. The lab was well represented
at this week-long conference. PhD students Nick Masto and Abigail Blake-Bradshaw were
invited to give plenary talks at the opening of the conference. Our lab also took
home several awards including First and Third Place in "Best PhD Student Presentations"
which were awarded to Nick Masto and Cory Highway, respectively.
