How to Apply to Tennessee Tech - Freshmen
Submit an Application
Fill out our online application at tntech.edu/apply. If you need to make a change to your existing application, please submit an application update form.
Pay Your Application Fee
Before an application can be reviewed for admission, you must submit your $25 non-refundable undergraduate application fee. Please note that if you have paid the undergraduate application fee in the past, you do not need to do so again.
Transcripts
Before your application can be evaluated for admission, request your high school to submit official high school and college transcripts. For additional information on how transcripts can be sent, expand the options below.
It may take 3-5 business days before the transcript appears on your account.

High school transcripts can be emailed from a high school counselor to transcripts@tntech.edu. Any other emailed transcripts are not official and cannot be used for admission purposes.

Cookeville, TN 38505 - » How to submit Dual Enrollment and other college-level courses to receive credit?
To receive Dual Enrollment or other college-level credit, Tennessee Tech must receive official transcripts from the community colleges or universities you were enrolled for dual enrollment or the college-level credit. You will need to contact the institution (community colleges or universities) you took your dual enrollment course(s) and request your official transcript to be sent to Tennessee Tech for official credit to be applied to your academic record.

If you are submitting a HiSET exam, please use Tech’s HiSET code: TN1001002.
ACT or SAT Scores
Freshmen under the age of 21 will need to request official ACT or SAT scores if they are not posted on your high school transcript. If you are taking dual-credit courses or AP exams, you will need to request your school to send in these official transcripts as well. Tech’s ACT code is 4012 and Tech’s SAT code is 1804.
