Movies on the Quad is a free Tennessee Tech event showing your favorite family-friendly films right on campus with movie snacks, music, games, friendship bracelets, and more.

Movies on the Quad is for everyone — our Tennessee Tech alumni, students, campus community, and Cookeville community. Everyone is welcome!

Movies on the Quad is a free event! Please RSVP here. Concessions and food truck fare will be available for purchase at the event. While the event is free, to assist us with planning, please RSVP if you plan to attend.

To help support future events like Movies on the Quad, you can donate to the Crawford Alumni Center.

Free parking is available at the parking lot behind TJ Farr and Henderson Hall. President's Club members will have premium parking in this lot.

At 6 PM, Movies on the Quad will begin with concessions, music, games, and more before the movie begins. The movie will begin at 7:15 PM, so be sure to arrive with enough time to grab a snack and find your seat!

Outside food and beverages are not permitted. We will be serving movie popcorn and food truck fare will be available for purchase! Open/unsealed water bottles are not permitted. Please only bring sealed water bottles.

Restrooms will be available at the Memorial Gym.

Lawn chairs, blankets, or pillows to comfortably watch the movie. A small tarp or waterproof cover beneath your blanket is recommended. Please note that guests will be seated in the lawn chair seating area to ensure guests sitting on the ground can watch the movie unobstructed. Lawn chairs should be average in size and should not be oversized and obstruct others' view of the movie.

While we love pets, pets are not permitted at Movies on the Quad for the safety of all guests. This does not apply to service animals.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted at any time during the event. Tennessee Tech is a smoke-free campus.

If inclement weather requires a reschedule, we will notify guests and post to our social media as soon as possible.

Outside food and beverage, inflatable furniture, tents, coolers, glass bottles or items, pets (with the exception of service animals), candles, alcohol, speakers, bug spray/repellant, weapons, or any items that may obstruct the view or disrupt others or not in accordance with Tennessee Tech policies.

This is an alcohol-free event, and alcohol is prohibited.

Movie-goers of all ages are welcome at Movies on the Quad and we show family-friendly films, but it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure that the movie shown is appropriate for their children.
