Orientation Hold Information

If you have received a notice that you have an orientation hold on your account, please review the information below to ensure you've taken the proper steps toward having your hold removed.

First-Time FreshmenTransfer Students

 

First-Time Freshmen

If you are a first-time freshman and have an orientation hold on your account, please take the following steps to ensure you have met your orientation requirement:

If you attended the on-campus orientation

  1. Complete your Pre-SOAR module within iLearn and complete all required modules.
  2. Contact the Office of New Student & Family Programs at (931) 372-3245 or at nsfp@tntech.edu to let us know you've completed your requirement so we can promptly remove your hold.

If you did not attend the on-campus orientation

  1. Complete your Pre-SOAR module within iLearn and complete all required modules.
  2. Complete the online orientation - Access this at flight.tntech.edu (login with your Tech email username and password)
  3. Contact the Office of New Student & Family Programs at (931) 372-3245 or at nsfp@tntech.edu to let us know you've completed your requirement so we can promptly remove your hold.

 

Transfer Students

If you are a transfer student and have an orientation hold on your account, please take the following steps to ensure you have met your orientation requirement:

  1. Complete the online orientation - Access this at flight.tntech.edu (login with your Tech email username and password)
  2. Contact the Office of New Student & Family Programs at (931) 372-3245 or at nsfp@tntech.edu to let us know you've completed your requirement so we can promptly remove your hold.
