Perfect your craft at the keyboard! The Piano Performance concentration combines individualized instruction with chamber music and solo opportunities. Students refine technique, interpretation and artistry while exploring diverse repertoire – preparing for advanced study, performance careers or teaching roles within the vibrant world of piano music. With a Bachelor of Music in hand, students follow a common path toward an advanced degree at the master and doctoral levels. Most musicians engage in a mix of jobs and professional activities combining the roles of performer, composer, contractor, teacher, arts administrator, continuing student, volunteer, or music technologist. Admission to the performance option is by recommendation of the studio instructor.
