Degree Details

In today’s world, economists are among the most advanced data analysts. Tennessee Tech has the state’s only STEM-designated undergraduate economics program, producing graduates with state-of-the-art economics and quantitative analysis skill sets. Students also have the opportunity to participate in experimental economics research through the College of Business Behavior Research Lab. 

Economics majors work in all facets of the business world from manufacturing, banking, and retailing to sports, entertainment, and technology. They find successful careers not only in business, but also in government and non-profit organizations. Economics makes an excellent foundation for graduate study in economics, law, business, medicine, other social sciences, or public administration.
