String Symposium

The School of Music at Tennessee Tech University will host it's Annual String Symposium on in the Bryan Fine Arts building, located at 1150 N. Dixie Ave. in Cookeville, TN.
This event offers outstanding students an opportunity to gain valuable insight and improve their musicianship. Throughout the day, our string faculty will provide clinics and master classes that focus on all-state etudes, technique, and practice/performance tips.
Participation is open to high school students (grades 9-12) who play a string instrument. There is no registration fee, but students are responsible for their own lunches. Participants should register for the event by filling out the registration form below and bring their own instrument, if possible. The deadline to register for this event is Monday, November 3, 2025.

We invite you to nominate exceptional student musicians for participation in String Master Classes that are formed for each instrument. Participation is open to high school students (grades 9-12) who play a string instrument. You may use the below form to nominate multiple students. Please list each student individually. You may use the form more than once.
