Mad Topics Partners with Office of First-Generation Student Success and Lunar Rover Team
Are you familiar with the work done by the Office of First-Generation Student Success [KS1] (OFGSS) at Tennessee Tech University? The OFGSS partners with students and their families to provide vital support through an empathetic and experienced team that is dedicated to advocating, encouraging, and equipping students for success.
We are thrilled to introduce the collaboration between Mad Topics and the OFGSS. Together, we’ll be working to support their mission of equipping first-generation college students with the tools and resources needed to thrive throughout their college journey. We’re glad to be featured as one of the resources available to first-generation college students!
On September 5th, join Mad Topics in support of a First-Gen Friday hosted by the OFGSS, designed to connect directly with students. We’d love for you to stop by, say hello, and learn more about available resources and current events. Mad Topics has developed a rich corpus of knowledge, and we are excited to share it in collaboration with our partners to help students succeed.
Looking to the future, we will be collaborating with the College of Engineering Lunar Rover Team to host a "Build Your Own Fidget Toy" workshop in conjunction with First-Generation Student Success during National First-Generation College Student Week (November 3rd–8th). We’ll be using our September 5th event to gather your ideas to pitch a fidget toy to fabricate with students during this celebratory week. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
