RESEARCH AREAS AND INTERESTS

I perform research in the area of power and energy systems and at the Smart Grid Laboratory of CESR-TTU. My current research involves understanding the complexities associated with increased penetration of inverter-based generation in the smart grid.

  • Grid-Friendly, Smart, and Intelligent Control of Inverter-Based Resources
  • Transmission Planning with EMT Software
  • Real-Time Simulations and HIL Studies
  • Active Distribution Networks

Educational Background

  • Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, Clemson University, SC, USA
  • M.Sc., Electric Power Engineering, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden
